Kidney stones are of different types. Majority of the stones, say about 80%, are calcium oxalate ones. These happen due to raised calcium level in the blood. 5) Following a proper exercise regimen is very helpful in dealing with uric acid stones. The exercise causes the stones to break and dissolve. Then it gets easier to flush them out of the body. With regular exercise, there will not be growth of further stones.
6) There is another amusing fact to treat uric acid stones in the kidney – soft drinks. They reduce the level of uric acid in the body. Phosphoric acid present in the soft drinks enables dissolution of uric acid.
